The nitty-gritty on fit and power We don’t do “close enough.” We match the lengths down to the millimeter and use the exact connector types—usually R7s or SK15—that your machines already use. Why? Because if a tube is off by even 2mm, you’re looking at poor contact or, worse, putting weird stress on the quartz glass. Not a good look. We use high-wattage halogen filaments for 230V or 400V systems, which lets us pack more heat into a shorter space. It means your PET hits that transition temperature faster, and your line keeps humming. Better glass, smarter heat Standard quartz just can’t handle the chaos of a high-speed floor. We use heavy-wall quartz because it doesn’t freak out when the temperature swings. Plus, we added a special coating to some of our tubes. It filters out the wavelengths that the PET resin doesn’t actually use. Instead of wasting energy heating up the metal frame of your machine, the heat goes exactly where it belongs: right into the preform. A quick reality check Now, look—these lamps are universal, but they aren’t magic. If you drop a 2500W tube into an oven with clogged cooling fans or bad airflow, it’s going to run way too hot.
