Getting the heat right
The goal is simple: get your PET preform to the right temperature without scorching the surface. To do that, you need shortwave radiation that you can actually control. We use high-purity quartz and halogen gas fills. Why? Because it lets us pack more power into a smaller space. If you’re running a high-speed line, you can’t wait around. You need a lamp that hits the target temp in seconds. And since every shop is different, we offer everything from 220V to 400V. You can plug them right into your existing power rails without having to mess around with new transformers.
No more wiring nightmares
If you’ve ever been an engineer, you know the real headache is the connector. That’s why we stick to the industry standards—R7s and Sk15 bases. It means when a lamp burns out, you can just swap it for one of ours without having to rewire your entire oven. We also make sure the lengths are spot on. If a lamp is off by even 5mm, you get heat leakage. That’s just throwing money and energy away. We make sure it sits flush in the reflector so every bit of heat goes where it belongs.
A quick word of caution
Here’s a tip: high-wattage tubes are great for thick-walled PET, but they put a lot more stress on your sockets. If you decide to upgrade to a higher wattage,**please check your wiring gauge.**Thin wires can’t handle the load—they’ll overheat and melt the insulation, and that’s a mess you really don’t want to clean up.
