At the heart of it, we’re talking about a high-wattage halogen element, tucked inside a compact quartz envelope. It’s all designed to throw concentrated infrared heat exactly where you want it. The 400V rating is there to keep the amperage in check, so your feeder cables and terminals don’t have to be overbuilt. We keep the physical length short, so it slips easily Under tiles and inside tight channels. The tube diameter is just right—enough surface area to transfer heat, but not so much that you get a fragile hot spot.
